"Mubarak Ali Namda Handicrafts" was founded in 1991 by Mr.Noor Mohamad Father of Mubarak ali. For decades, making of different woolen felted carpets, door mats, pom pom and a variety of felted sheets and felted products were manufactured in the Namda Family's Small Firm in 90s.

Mr. Mubark ali (Grand son of Late Shri.Banne Kha) established AMERS Handicrafts LLP under Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India.
Mubarak Ali works with artisans to establish new linkages that further the felted craft. By introducing new designs and products, Mubarak Ali is helping to ensure this Woolen Felt craft has a future.

Manufacture of the Felt Sheets from Sheep Wool began in the Year 2000. Present-day’s Woolen Felt Products has originally been Prepared and manufactured here in AMERS Handicraft.

Wool Felt

Woolen felt is an organic product with the possibility of biological disposal that is safe for the environment.
Sheep wool, eventually wool fibres are gradually felted and compressed by moisture, heat, and abrasion during the manufacturing process, until a homogenous fabric is created, called woolen felts.

“AMERS HANDICRAFT” established in the year 1991 (In 1991 the Firm name was "Mubarak Ali Namda Handicrafts")as an economical development project with the main objective of providing job opportunity to the urban and rural women living the life of poverty within the walls of their home isolated from the economic activities. So, AMERS Handicraft movement is empowering SHG women by making them economically self-dependent. We promote SHG women's Felt handicrafts which will finally help us to be economically strong and help them to invest in their health and for their children's education.
